As much as I adore travel, packing is one of my least favorite things to do. It seems to be a daunting task that I always leave for the last minute. If you’re like me in that way, I recommend getting these 5 travel essentials that will make your traveling life easy!
- These refillable and TSA approved bottles have been a lifesaver for me. They are simple to use and don’t leak, which is something I worry about when I travel. These are what I use to store my body lotion, face cream, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, and even rose water spray. Trust me when I say this is a must have in your travel bag!
- Okay, this one is for my Desi friends: the dreaded lota. I’d been utilizing water bottles, glasses, and pretty much anything else in the hotel room that could serve this role, but I finally got around to purchasing a dedicated item for this. This is a silicone water bottle that collapses and has a squirt nozzle. This was my low-cost alternative to spending $30 on a portable bidet. If this has been a source of frustration while traveling, here is the item for you!
- EARPLUGS! Let me tell you, I despise it when I’m on an airplane and I hear chatter, babies crying, or even the buzzing of the cabin. I prefer to sit in silence or use noise-cancelling headphones. But, more often than not, when I need to sleep, I put these in my ears and they block out all the background sounds. These are the softest earplugs I’ve tested, and you can trust me because I’ve tried a few and these are my favorites.
- A toiletry bag is a must-have if you want to keep all of your toiletries, cosmetics, and perfume in one place while traveling. This bag is large enough to hold everything I need in the bathroom while I travel. It features compartments for wet items like toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as a compartment for my makeup brushes. Even if it overflows, it will hold everything you need. I tried one of the flat bags and it wouldn’t zip all the way with the same amount of items inside, so this one is the better alternative!
- I’ve always had a poor habit of leaving my ID and wallet at home. I always remember to bring my phone, as I’m sure many people do. This phone case has completely changed my life. My ID and credit cards are all in one place, and it can be worn as a cross-body purse. The lack of a flap over the phone screen is the key design feature that distinguishes this phone wallet from the others I’ve seen. When you simply want to use your phone quickly and efficiently, that flap is quite inconvenient. Not only did I buy it, but my mother was also obsessed with it and wanted one as well!
